Draft for App Store review. This policy describes how DriveProof handles your data today. A counsel-reviewed version will replace this text before general availability billing.

What we collect

When you use DriveProof we may collect:

  • Account information (email address, display name) from your sign-in provider.
  • Vehicle telemetry you authorize via Tesla Fleet API (location, trip timing, battery, odometer, and related vehicle signals).
  • Trip classifications, notes, and settings you enter in the dashboard or mobile app.
  • Technical logs (IP address, device type, error reports) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

We use this data to record trips, generate mileage reports, sync your account across devices, provide customer support, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only when you direct us to (for example, exporting a report to your CPA) or when required by law. API tokens you mint are scoped to your account; you control revocation.

Subscriptions & billing

DriveProof is currently in private beta and is free to use — there is no in-app purchase or subscription in the beta. At general availability, DriveProof will offer an optional auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store; payment would be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, would automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and would be manageable or cancellable anytime in your Apple ID account settings. We never store your payment card details.

Retention & deletion

You may delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your user record, vehicles, trips, and tokens from our production database subject to backup retention windows described in our internal runbooks.
